Meet the Motes!

We would like to welcome more family to the blogging universe - Brian's cousin Luke Motes and his wife Becky, along with their two little men John Patrick and Ben. Brian & Luke were born two months apart, and grew up together over at Grandma & Papa Bojo's. Luke's wife Becky runs the blog and does a great job. Like our household, the wife & mom is the brains of the operation. Their site is called Three Men and a Lady, and will now be found on our Links section over on the right.

Poor Aggie

Aggie's life has changed dramatically since we had MK. We used to play with her all of the time and now she doesn't get played with much. She spends most of her day sleeping and chasing me around the house with her slipper begging to play. Sometimes, Mary Kate pulls her hair if Aggie ventures to close to her. This is a typical expression of Poor Aggie when she has been trying to play with me for hours.

Daddy's Thumb

Mary Kate has been sucking her thumb when she can get it into her mouth. Last night she was sitting with Brian and she grabbed his thumb and stuck it in her mouth. I guess it tasted better than hers!

Tummy Time IV

Mary Kate is able to push up pretty high from her tummy position. She wants to roll over so badly but still can't quite do it. It is so frustrating to watch her struggle to learn. I want to just do it for her, but then she never will learn. It is hard to hold back and just watch her. I love this picture!

Watch out- She'll Get You!

Well, Mary Kate spits up alot! As new parents we don't know how much spit up is normal, but it seems that she spits up at least 20 times a day. Almost every night, when Brian gets home, he picks up his little girl and she lets it go on his shirt. Thankfully, he gets free dry cleaning or we would be in the poor house. The other night she bombed him and he said, "Does she spit up on you as much as she spits up on me?". I assured him that she did. Sometimes I don't even change my clothes. What's the point? I will just get it again. :) This is a picture of MK after she spit up on her Daddy.

Just the Three of Us

I think this is the first picture of our whole family (minus Aggie) to be posted on the blog. MK is wearing her Aunt Maddie's dress and shoes from long ago. Brian dressed MK and I must say he is surprisingly good at getting tights on a four month old.

Thank You Starr Family

This is a picture of MK in a very cute outfit given to her by the Starr Family for Christmas. It is a little tight in the crotch area because she has so many rolls. We are crossing our fingers that she gets to wear it several more times. We are also taking advantage of the nice Christmas present from the Starrs and holding our breath for what next year has in store. Apparently, we are due some payback for a certain present that contained over a million pieces. Who knew!

It's About Time

For those of you loyal blogger-checkers, we are so sorry that we have taken such a long time to update our blog. Brian has handed over the task of the blog to me. We hope we will not have such a long break from new pictures again. I will also apologize that I will be posting on the blog now and not Brian. He is a much better writer than I am.

Here is a picture of Mary Kate in her very own Braves windsuit. This is the only way Brian can get his daugther in sports related clothing. It has to be pink!
